PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS

I am currently accepting graduate students through the Food Systems Graduate Program at UVM.  Navigating the graduate school application process can be tricky to say the least.  The best strategy for your application is to start early, make contact with the program officer or graduate coordinator in the programs you want to apply to and reach out to a prospective adviser.

Students who best integrate with my work should have a strong interest in multidisciplinary research, a systems approach to thinking, and experience or interest in working with quantitative research including large scale surveys and large datasets.  While I also conduct qualitative research using interviews and focus groups, much of my work incorporates statistical analysis and I consider experience in this skill an asset.

If you are interested in discussing your potential graduate school application and my research further I encourage you to explore my research projects and publications and then be in touch.

Meredith along with other faculty and students in the food systems graduate program enjoy a homemade lunch together during one of the Food Systems graduate program courses.
